Booking usually opens seasonally ✺ subscribe to my newsletter to receive email updates for major flash drops & seasonal artist news updates.

All tattoo requests are received through a booking form and then confirmed over email. I do not book through Instagram DMs, you’re welcome to reach out with questions there but then I will direct you to my forms.

I can best be contacted to answer questions by email at info@robingraves.net

  • ✺ All artists, clients and visitors are required to wear a mask (N95 or equivalent) while in the studio.

✺ I ask clients to provide proof of vaccination with their consent forms.

✺ Accessibility Note ! Our space is atop a steep flight of stairs that may cause an accessibility issue to those with mobility concerns

✺ If you are sick, feeling unwell, or cannot safely make it to your appointment, communicate this to me and your session will be rescheduled. Clients can reschedule their appointments independently up until 48 hours before their appointment. If you need to reschedule on short notice I can be contacted through email.

If you arrive to your appointment and are unwell, you will be sent home and your appointment cancelled, resulting in a lost deposit.

If you have any questions, I can be contacted by emailing info@robingraves.net

  • ✺ All appointments require a $50 deposit to book.

✺ Booking deposits will be applied to the price of your tattoo.

    ✺ All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

You are welcome to cancel your appointment at any time.

✺ Rescheduling/Cancelling with less than 48 hours notice will forfeit your deposit and a new payment will be required to re-book

  • The custom booking process is more in depth than a flash booking, so getting an appointment does take some extra time. It’s important that I feel confident in offering you the best tattoo experience I can. If I believe another artist would be a better fit for your custom, I will let you know and give my recommendation.

✺ I charge a Custom Drawing Commission fee (starting at $50) for each custom tattoo. This amount will not be deducted from your tattoo total.

✺ If I accept your custom it will be added to my commission waitlist. Custom clients will receive an approximate date to a expect a draft of their piece. From there, I offer one redraw or ‘tweak’ of the design before I send a final draft.

✺ If further edits are required, an additional drawing fee may be charged.

✺ To streamline this process, I ask clients to be as clear as possible in their request. Do make sure to include references from my portfolio. NOTE: I do not copy the work of other tattooers but can instead be asked to recreate my own work based on existing concepts.

✺ Once a design is a finalized, a booking link will be sent and the appointment can be booked. A $50 booking deposit is required for each appointment - This amount will be deducted from the tattoo total upon completion.

✺ All Deposits and Drawing Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

✺ I encourage all custom clients book either an in-person or zoom consultation, especially if it is our first time working together.

  • Each Flash Day will feature a specific Flash Sheet available to book on a specified date for a reduced rate.

All Flash Day appointments are pre-booked online.

Flash Day pieces often average 10 centimetres or smaller though other Flash Days May feature larger options.

    Arm & Leg placements encouraged.

All Flash is limited repeatable (unless otherwise stated). Unclaimed pieces will added to my full Flash Gallery and made available for general booking.

  • I can provide you with either a second skin bandage or a Soaker Pad. The after care for both is the same, except for the time your bandage is kept on.

Second skin ~ keep it on for 3-4 days. This bandage is shower proof, but this does not mean you can go swimming. If this bandage begins to lift, leak or irritate your skin, remove it and begin your aftercare (this bandage has an adhesive layer that may irritate sensitive skin)

Soaker Pad ~ is only to be worn for a few hours (details will be discussed with you)

    Removing your bandage:

    • First, make sure your hands are clean

    • Once your bandage is removed, rinse with warm water

    • Use a gentle unscented soap to wash away residue

    • Air dry your tattoo or gently pat dry with a clean paper towel

    • Leave it dry for the first 12-24 hours so it can breathe and scab

    • It is generally recommended to wash your healing tattoo in the morning when you wake up, then again before bed. If the area becomes soiled or sweaty in between, do wash it clean.

    • The second time you cleanse you may begin lightly moisturizing your healing tattoo.

    • Apply a THIN layer after washing (and periodically through the day if you need some extra help with itch relief).

    • Continue to moisturize your tattoo until the scab is gone and it has finished peeling (approx 2 weeks).

    • Then preserve your ink for years to come by wearing your SPF.

    • I recommend using hypoallergenic, unscented cleansers and moisturizers. Let me know if you would like a specific recommendation.

If you have any questions about your tattoo, please contact your artist. If you notice anything abnormal about the healing of your tattoo please contact your artist immediately, and if necessary they can direct you to the appropriate medical professional.

    Tips for a healing tattoo:

    • Do NOT submerge it in water or go swimming. Pools, hot tubs, or any body of water carry high risk of causing infection or ruining your healing process. This is also true for gyms, yoga studios, saunas and steam rooms. Avoid these for at least 2 weeks.

    • Do NOT pick or scratch at the tattoo. This will damage your tattoo and prolong your healing. Let all flakes fall off on their own time.

    • Do NOT put anything on your tattoo that you have not cleared with your artist or doctor

    • Do NOT expose your healing tattoo to direct sunlight or allow it to become burned

    • Do NOT expose your healing tattoo to unsanitary environments or irritating clothing without protection (i.e. cleaning a bathroom with a fresh tattoo on your hand or arm that is not protected by a bandage or covering)
